Chocolate and Salted Caramel Mug Cake

Mug cakes are individual servings of cake, made and cooked in a mug. In the microwave. What more could you ask for? Sure, they aren't the most gourmet things ever, but they hit the spot when you've got a craving for sweets. You can either mix the ingredients in the mug, or in a small bowl and then pour it in. I prefer the bowl method, because then it's neater and easier to see that you've mixed it enough.
Basically, take all of your ingredients, minus the caramels, and mix them together. I added some instant coffee powder because I felt like getting fancy.
If you're mixing in a bowl, then pour the mixture into your mug. Drop the caramels in, one at a time. If you don't have any salted caramels, add some salt to the mixture when you drop in the caramels. If you're like me, and your family ate all of the caramels in the house, then add a few squeezes of caramel sauce.
Now microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds. I did 1 minute and 15 seconds to make sure it didn't dry out.
Ta-da! Your very own individual serving of cake. Yummy.
It was pretty good, for a mug cake. The coffee added some nice flavor, too :).
